20+ year hospitality professional with a passion for developing people, nurturing relationships, and driving the bar higher. My academic background was in Chemistry, but I found most of my enjoyment in working with people and facilitating tweetable moments.My restaurant background has encompassed every position in the industry, beginning with dishwashing and every back-of-house role before I moved into the front of house, excelling in front-facing client experiences. My first club experience had everything I hoped for: the service excellence of fine dining with the relationship building found in upscale family-casual. The journey began as a server and then worked its way to bar manager, sommelier, and now in my current role, asst. clubhouse manager. I really appreciated this pathway because it helped me to understand the challenges, struggles, and opportunities that exist when "climbing the ranks." I look forward to the opportunity to be an open book and share some of the common ground we have all experienced when growing within the industry. This is probably my favorite part of the club experience: developing future leaders and challenging current ones to expand and deploy innovative strategies as creative solutions to new problems.
