"Jeffrey (Jeff) Blais was raised in the beautiful upstate New York village of Lake George.He grew up loving the outdoors and playing all sports, excelling in basketball and baseball. He graduated from Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont in 1985 where he majored in Business Administration and played basketball and lacrosse.
His professional career began in operations with Omni Hotels including a special stop at the historic Sagamore Resort on Lake George. It was there that he shared the registration desk with the woman who would be his future wife, Debbie.
Jeff spent three years at the Grand Traverse Resort, Spa and Club and three years at Kingsmill on the James. Along with gaining experience managing all aspects of hotels, resorts and clubs including budget and expense control, he was also exposed to a number of great golf courses designed by Pete Dye, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Curtis Strange among others. Jeff now serves as CEO / General Manager of Wildcat Cliffs Country Club in Highlands, NC.
