 Please join us on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 for a special presentation at Forsyth Country Club in Winston-Salem, NC. The Piedmont Region welcomes Jason Mengel, the 2017 PGA Championship Director (Quail Hollow Club - Charlotte, North Carolina). Jason is responsible for directing the resources of the PGA of America in order to ensure that the assigned Championship meets and exceeds the goals and objectives for all internal and external stakeholder groups.
Jason will be discussing the following topics:
• Strategic planning, development and execution of all aspects of assigned Championship
• Acting as media spokesperson for the Championship
• Directing government relations efforts on a regional, statewide, and local level
• Human resource planning, recruitment and direction of all on-site Championship staff
• Development, analysis and management of Championship budget
• Direct responsibility for all revenue generating activities related to the Championship
