2019 Manager-Director Forum
Date: Monday, May 20, 2019 Location: Highlands Falls Country Club A unique and upscale community, Highlands sits high atop a plateau in the mountains of Western North Carolina 4118 ft. above sea level. The town was founded in 1875 by two Kansas land developers who, according to folklore, drew a line on the map from New York to New Orleans and another from Chicago to Savannah. The point at which these lines intersected, they believed, would become a major thoroughfare and some day, a great population center. What evolved was the highest incorporated town east of the Rockies known to the well-traveled as a popular summer resort locale with coveted health benefits.
The annual Manager-Director Forum offers an excellent opportunity for Managers to bring their Board Members to an educational session and panel discussion geared toward club governance, along with the opportunity to play golf on an outstanding Carolinas course. All Carolinas Chapter CMAA Members and their management teams are encouraged to attend this great educational event, with or without Board Members. The cost to attend the Forum is $40 per person, which includes the panel, breakfast, and lunch.
For those wishing to stay and play golf, Highlands Falls Country Club is opening its course for an incredible opportunity to play golf and enjoy the after-play reception for $85 per person, which includes the panel, breakfast, lunch, golf, and reception.
