Program Summary: 
Preparing an annual budget is a task of vital importance in our world that is often not formally taught. Many managers have some experience putting bits and pieces of a budget together but have never been involved with the process from start to finish. Similarly, many young professionals only work with a portion of a club's financials and would like to understand more how it all ties together. 

Karen Sherman graduated from the University of South Carolina and has been the Controller at the Country Club of Charleston for 30 years. Jason Lambert has worked for Yeamans Hall Club for 6 years. His financial career began in 2000 where he was a stockbroker with Morgan Stanley and then Merrill Lynch.  After approximately 4 years trading stocks, Jason moved to the Private Wealth Management team at Bank of America managing approximately $1 billion in private, corporate, and institutional funds.  Between the two of our speakers, they have almost 50 years of experience in the finance world.
