Tuesday, June 25, 2019
Location:
Long Cove Club
399 Long Cove Drive
Hilton Head, South Carolina 29928
Program Speaker:
Tim Moraghan, ASPIRE Golf
Program Summary:
After working for the USGA for two decades, Tim Moraghan formed his own turf management company, ASPIRE Golf. Since forming ASPIRE Golf in 2007, Moraghan has assembled an impressive roster of clients, including private clubs, public courses, municipalities and resorts. His candid nature and refreshing outlook make him a frequent resource for the media, as well as a regular contributor to industry periodicals: he writes a monthly column for Golf Course Industry and formerly served as a member of GCSAA's Strategic Communications Committee.
A popular and knowledgeable speaker, Moraghan regularly addresses industry groups and club boards on a wide array of topics, from tournament preparation and challenges to everyday course conditioning. For this meeting, Tim will be giving a crash course on Agronomy – a subject that is crucial in our industry, that many have not had the opportunity to explore.
Leading into this very informative session, General Manager/COO, Leon Crimmins, and Superintendent, Ashley Davis will give a brief overview of the renovations recently completed at Long Cove Club.
