Program Summary:
Lets face it, if you currently do not have one planned, it’s only a matter of time before your club faces a dining room renovation. On this day, join us at the Governors Club in Chapel Hill as GM/ COO Doug Shifflett and Assistant GM Jay Johnson give an insight in their current $3.5 million dollar state of the art dining renovation. This project addressed the areas outlined in their long range capital plan to improve its Casual Dining Space, Formal Dining Space, Pool Grille, and Turn-and-Go offerings. Following a tour, you are invited to join us for a panel discussion as Doug and Jay will then be joined by Mark Sipple and Jack Slaughter of Carolina Country Club, who recently completed their own dining room renovation. This panel discussion will facilitate conversation and insight on the different approaches each club took in presenting and approving this process with their membership. Following this panel discussion, lunch will be offered at the Club where we will be happy to answer any questions.
