| Program Speaker: Michael Kasavana, Ph.D. NAMA Endowed Professor in Hospitality Business Michigan State University No business possesses more transactional and operational data than a private club. The challenge is determining how this information is analyzed and applied to assist management in exceeding member expectations. This fast-paced session will include club technology benchmarks, network security concerns, website management, data mining, technology contracting, and identification of Kasavana’s club “techno-nevers”. Michael L. Kasavana is the NAMA Endowed Professor in the School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. His teaching and research efforts are sharply focused on information technology and transaction settlement systems for self-service and full-service applications in hotel, restaurant, club, and casino environments. |
